School Visit to the CyberHAK – Hands-On Insights into Cybersecurity

Supporting young talent is a key priority for us at Certitude Consulting. We were therefore particularly pleased to spend an entire morning at Vienna Business School Floridsdorf, providing students with practical insights into our professional environment. Our colleague Yvonne Bauer designed a varied and engaging program for the CyberHAK class.

Experiencing Cybersecurity as a Future-Oriented Field

For the students, the focus was on cybersecurity and security management.

Yvonne Bauer provided practical insights into real-world threat scenarios, preventive measures, and typical responsibilities of cybersecurity professionals. It was particularly important to her to highlight the wide range of career paths and development opportunities within this future-oriented field.

Strong Practical Relevance Through Our Network

A particular highlight was the virtual participation of an expert from the Women4Cyber Austria network, in which Yvonne Bauer is actively involved on a voluntary basis. The expert demonstrated in a practical way how cybersecurity is implemented in complex infrastructures and emphasized the importance of IT security and awareness in day-to-day operations.

The direct exchange with the expert offered the students additional perspectives and demonstrated how closely education and industry are interconnected.

Promoting Young Talent as a Shared Responsibility

The morning once again showed how important dialogue between educational institutions and companies truly is. Inspiring young people at an early stage to engage with topics such as cybersecurity, providing guidance, and outlining development opportunities are responsibilities we consciously embrace.

We are therefore especially pleased to support the CyberHAK as a future cooperation partner. Together, we aim to further strengthen practice-oriented education, provide insights into professional life, and support young talents on their career paths.

After all, the specialists of tomorrow emerge where knowledge, practical experience, and enthusiasm come together.
