Rookie of the Year: How Continuous Learning Pays Off at Certitude

Professional development is an essential part of our daily work, especially in a dynamic field like cybersecurity. At Certitude, we therefore want to give our colleagues the opportunity to explore their interests, build new skills, and develop their personal strengths, regardless of their role or position.

A recent example is our colleague Natalie Müller from the Marketing department. During her continuing education at the Werbe Akademie, she was honored by the Austrian Marketing Society (ÖMG) as “Rookie of the Year” for her thesis in the field of B2B marketing.

New Knowledge for Everyday Practice

In the part-time diploma program in Online Marketing, Natalie explored key topics in digital marketing, from social media, content, and SEO to campaign planning, strategy, and analytics.

Completing the program was only part of the goal. Just as important was bringing the new insights and expertise directly into her daily marketing work at Certitude. In cybersecurity, complex and technical content often has to be presented clearly and tailored to the target audience. The knowledge she gained is therefore put to use right away: in creating content for our social media channels, in event and webinar campaigns, in the further development of our website, and in our SEO initiatives.

Supporting Young Talent and Fostering Exchange in the Marketing Industry

At the summer festival of the Austrian Marketing Society, Natalie and other graduates of the Werbe Akademie’s online courses were honored for their outstanding achievements.

With the “Rookie” award, the ÖMG specifically supports the next generation in the marketing industry and creates opportunities for exchange and networking with experienced experts from various areas of marketing.

“I was very surprised to receive this award, and that made me all the happier,” said Natalie Müller.

Continuous Development as Part of Our Corporate Culture

In a dynamic technological environment, we can only deliver the quality we demand of ourselves if we keep learning. Ongoing professional development and engagement with new subject areas are therefore an integral part of our employees’ daily work. We want to give our colleagues the opportunity to build on their strengths in a targeted way, gain new perspectives, and pursue their own professional interests. To this end, we offer monthly internal training sessions as well as external courses and certifications, which each colleague can use at their own discretion or as needed.

For us, professional development is not an end in itself. New knowledge should enable personal growth while also benefiting the company, and that benefits our employees, our teams, and above all our customers.

We warmly congratulate Natalie on this special award.
