New shareholder for new growth step

Five years after founding Certitude Consulting GmbH, founding partner Ulrich Kallausch is handing over his share of the leading independent specialist for cyber security to Florian Wolf. “We have built Certitude Consulting as a specialist in cyber security, which today supports around 100 companies in the DACH region and beyond with a team of more than 30 experts. “As a business angel, I have fulfilled my task and it is now time for Florian Wolf to bring in his many years of sales experience to open up new customer areas and thus begin the next step in growth,” says Ulrich Kallausch, explaining the dynamics of the business.

Florian Wolf has 30 years of experience in IT for corporate customers. After the sale of his ITaaS company Semizen to the Vienna-based techbold technology group, he was responsible for techbold’s sales as Head of Sales. “Certitude Consulting has grown so far through high quality, customer satisfaction and recommendations. We have gained a strong partner in Florian Wolf to further expand our business and scale sales,” adds Marc Nimmerrichter, Managing Partner of Certitude Consulting.

Certitude Consulting GmbH was founded in October 2018 by Kallausch, Aleksandar Lacarak and Markus Endres. A year later, Marc Nimmerrichter joined the company as a partner and massively expanded the IT security area. The company is now one of the largest Austrian consulting companies specializing exclusively in cyber security and currently handles more than 200 projects annually. In recent months, the specialists have repeatedly drawn attention to themselves in national and international media by uncovering critical vulnerabilities in products and services from well-known organizations. Certitude Consulting works for customers in various industries, including logistics, telecommunications, banking, insurance, health, production, real estate, IT services, software development and public administration. The Federal Ministry of the Interior has fully accredited the company as an NIS-qualified body. This means that Certitude Consulting is authorized to check and confirm the requirements of the Network and Information Systems Security Act (NISG) for operators part of the critical infrastructure. With the revision of the NISG (NIS2), thousands of Austrian companies are expected to be specifically regulated with regard to their information security for the first time.

Before founding Certitude Consulting, Ulrich Kallausch was an equity partner at Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. Austria, CRO/COO of Deutsche Bank (Österreich) AG and co-owner and CIO/CRO of Semper Constantia Privatbank AG. He will now devote himself again in depth to the banking business in his capacity as partner of ACM Alpstein Capital Management AG, which is domiciled in Switzerland, and CONFIDUM Financial Management AG, which is also based in Switzerland. Confidum has a long-standing track record in mergers & acquisitions and in strategy consulting for financial institutions. Alpstein Capital Management offers capital optimization, legal support, pricing and placement of AT-1 capital from German regional banks from a single source.
